Alpine ridge climbing!

Tricouni Peak rises high above the Squamish and Cheakamus river valleys in the Sea to Sky region. The north side is heavily glaciated while the southern and western aspects are high meadow areas dotted with alpine lakes.

This trip is 2 days with the first day beginning the approach hike to the campsite on the shores of Berg Lake. It takes approximately 3 hours hiking to the lake where flat spots exist in the meadow. The second day we will get an early alpine start to traverse a glacier to the North Ridge where exposed rock climbing on a narrow ridge leads to the summit.

The trip involves off-trail hiking, alpine rock climbing, and a glacier crossing. Along the way our guides will ensure your safety with ropes and harnesses. You will need your camera handy as the views are 360 degrees!
